The Porsche Taycan is being investigated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) after complaints from owners about a total loss of power while driving.The investigation follows 9 complaints from owners, and impacts both the 2020 and 2021 model year Taycans. According to the owners, the vehicle loses power without any warning, after which a message appears showing a battery fault.According to the NHTSA, the loss of power in the 12-volt battery can shut down power in the entire car. Of the nine owners who experienced the issue, six could not restart their cars.
